February has been a rollercoaster of a month – I’m still yet to decide whether this was a good thing or not.
Things That I thought I’d get done:
- 10 Secs
- Photos of Prints
- Business Growth
Things I didn’t get done:
- All of the Above
I feel like it really hasn’t been my month! Although I have touched on all three of these, each task felt infinitely bigger than it should have been. My usual timetable/list for the week that I usually do feels daunting and I almost feel disconnected with what I do. There’s been a lot of procrastination, which has lead to nothing, just a lot of days where I feel swamped in my own thoughts.
So I’ve decided to mix things up.
My usual go to set up for a week consists of breaking down tasks over the week so that they feel more manageable, I’m now going to have them whole, and do them all at once, just to see what the difference is. This reminds me more of uni, where I would book out a few days to do location shooting or working on a specific skill in order to improve on it. Hopefully this may help.
I have a few trips in March, so I’ll be working towards them in terms of what I need out of them, what content and work I need scheduled, and how it will fit into the short few days I am away at a time!
My other goal is to reach out to more people, to gain more connections and to also raise my profile a bit more so that people know who I am. Let’s hope I get round to doing it…
In terms of 10 Secs…
Yes, progress has been slow, however I still have plenty of ideas and the Hotel Chocolat concept to finish off. I have a few concept shots that I took that I am using as the foundation for this mini portfolio. The theme I’m going for is, sleek, sexy, simplicity – a combination that I feel highlights what this product stands for. While limited for some shots in terms of equipment, I’m excited to see what I can create!
